Killeshandra is a rural village set in the middle of unspoiled countryside located in the Lakeland region part of the Shannon-Erne Waterway system beside Killykeen Forest Park, with stunning lake views woven around the waters of Lough Oughter which is very popular with anglers. Excellent location for canoeing and boating alike. Forest Walks, Picnic areas, Family cycle trail and multi-access trails.
Lough Oughter Castle which is sited on a island in the middle of Lough Oughter. Built by the Anglo-Normans in the 13th century.
